Specialized Diversion
Eligibility Criteria
- Determined on a case-by-case basis.
- Diversion is allowed providing there has been no conviction or diversion for the same infraction in the previous 10 years except Driving Under the Influence (DUI).
- Only one diversion may be granted for DUI.
- ELIGIBLE infractions include:
- Driving Under the Influence
- Fleeing and Eluding
- Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor
- Hosting a Party
- Reckless Driving
Application Process
Eligibility is determined by a Traffic Assistant District Attorney. Defendants must appear in Court as required before the application process can begin.
