After your application has been processed, you will receive an agreement and a letter via mail. You will sign and date the agreement and return it along with the monies outlined in the letter.

You will need to refrain from getting a traffic citation for the next 6 months for the same offense(s) for which you are currently on diversion.
Diversion is an agreement between you and the District Attorney that if you follow certain conditions, the District Attorney will dismiss your ticket after six months. Diversion will keep your ticket from being on your record.
