Victim Assistance
Purpose
The purpose of the Victim Assistance Unit is to alleviate the trauma and the devastating effects of crime on the lives of victims and their families. The Victim Assistance Unit of the Johnson County District Attorney's Office furnishes needed information, advocacy, and the opportunity to participate more effectively within the criminal justice system.
