Steve Howe accepts National Crime Victim's Rights proclamation

Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe accepted a proclamation at the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners regular meeting, Thursday, April 15, recognizing April 18-24 as National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.

In accepting the proclamation, Howe said, “Providing victims with knowledge of their rights and available services further strengthens their ability to recover by restoring a sense of self-empowerment.  The Johnson County District Attorney’s Office will post one article per day through Friday of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (authored by Victim Assistance Unit personnel and the Office for Victims of Crime) to highlight relevant resources and related topics.”
